Spicy Pumpkin Seed Mix

Ingredients

  • 250g mixed seed (sunflower, pumpkin, linseed)
  • 1 tsp rapeseed oil
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp agave syrup
  • pinch cayenne

METHOD:

  • Preheat the oven to 160C/ 140 fan/ Gas mark 3.
  • Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and spread onto a baking sheet. Cook for 15 - 20 mins until dry and golden. Stir once during cooking. Allow to cool and store in a sealed container for up to 3 weeks.                                                                                                                                                                                   
Chocolate Date Smoothie
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups unsweetened nut milk
  • 4 dried dates, pitted
  • 2 medium frozen bananas
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Method:
  • Place the nut milk and dates in a blender and blend on high speed until smooth to break down the dates, about 30 seconds.
  • Add the bananas, cocoa powder, almond butter, and cinnamon. Blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy, about 45 seconds more.
